You need one slot screen, which is rigid, non-flexible filter to check and screen raw material from bigger particles, these bigger particles have to be returned to grinder for regrinding. Instead, if you use a filter with knitting wire screen or other bag type screen, due to excess pressure applied, within a limit time, wire gap will be enlarged, it will pass through all bigger particles, so it is flexible filtering.

Due smaller knitting wire diameter, such as only 0.0371m/m (see wire size P.8) for 300 mesh, wire deforms after limited time using, hole size becomes uneven and gap enlarged due to excess pressure applied. Therefore, filtering quality is never same as we chose for 300 mesh (50 micron), perhaps even not up to the filter quality of 50 mesh, this will only be found when customer complaints.

Hong Shuen slot screen is rigid, non-flexible filtering, due our smallest wire 12S is 1mm dia, (1mm0.0381mm=26 times) compare to knitting wire 0.0381mm, slot screen has 26 times more rigid, support fins are added to stand higher pressure and prevents deforms. You may select larger slot hole (such as 100 mesh for knitting wire screen, can be used 80 mesh slot screen) but obtain better filter quality. Even is always beauty.
